Marshalls Carbide Ltd is pleased to announce that we have taken delivery of a new 30 ton Dorst press to further enhance the quality of products we produce and to increase the manufacturing capacity within the factory.
The press is fully automated and utilises an integral Robot and pallet unloading to allow for un-manned operation.
In-line monitoring and self adjusting parameters ensure the quality and integrity of the inserts produced.
With fast set up / change over procedures and significantly improved loading / unloading of raw materials and finished parts we are seeing a 75% improvement in productivity.
With opportunities of quadruple pressing and the ability to cover a full range of insert sizes (8mm - 25mm) this machine allows us to press ever more complex shapes and designs required within the industry.
The introduction of this machine is the first step of a substantial CAPEX investment program that has been implemented following the acquisition of MHM by Mincon Group PLC.
